    • Program icon for the window; on Linux also for the menu entry and software centres
      (the Windows installer and shortcuts keep the default icon for now). Linux tar.gz
      installs updated from 0.2.0: run ~/.local/opt/ModbusLogger/install.sh once to get
      the icon in the menu.
    • Debian package: AppStream metadata, so software centres such as KDE Discover show
      the name, developer, licence and icon of the installed program; copyright file.
    • Licence stated as GPL-3.0-or-later (GPL version 3 or any later version).
    • Linux: the update check works. 0.2.0 looked for the certificates of the build
      machine and failed with CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED; updates are now checked against
      the operating system's certificates (on Windows as well). A Linux 0.2.0 cannot
      update itself: install 0.2.1 by hand, or start 0.2.0 once with
      SSL_CERT_FILE=/etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt modbus-logger and use
      Check for updates.
    • --check-update prints the newest release for the installation (diagnosis).
